Signature Flutes have a traditional pinned mechanism, resulting in a lighter weight. The tone holes are drawn using our patented method of extrusion, and each flute bears the signature of Verne Q. Powell. The final mark of quality on this instrument is the handcut Signature II style headjoint, made and tested by the same headjoint makers who make their Custom headjoints.
Signature flutes are discontinued models no longer being manufactured by Powell Flutes in Boston. A different spec than Serial #4553 is not available.
This flute includes free repair support for 1 year (excludes COA workscope) and 10% off repair service for the life of the flute.
