What is a “COA”?
A Clean, Oil and Adjust is the process of diagnosing your flute’s condition, disassembling it, cleaning it, repairing and re-seating any pads, adjusting the mechanisms, replacing the headjoint cork, oiling it back up and re-assembling. This service is recommended on all flutes at least once a year, but more often if you are more particular about how your flute plays.
Repair Services
Many flute providers have flat rate pricing, which may leave you paying for repair hours you didn’t use.
At TFS, we only bill you for the hours and materials you actually use. Pretty fair, huh?
Hourly rate: $115 in 30-minute increments (includes all materials except pads)
Pads: Quote, depends on type
